Scientifically they are classified under the Insecta family, in the order of Hemiptera, family Pentatomidea and the Phylum Arthropoda.

They feed on crops, fruits, soybeans, tomatoes, and other vegetables; they also eat up leaves and are also known as agricultural pests. They however don’t harm human beings directly but are indeed harmful to crops. The stink bugs get their name from the stink they give off if crushed or killed. To get rid of stink bugs it is better to bring in professionals. Certified pest control will know how to control and eradicate the pest infestation not only of stink bugs but also of other pests. Some measures one can follow to curb stink bug infestation is by removing plants or weeds around the house because stink bugs like to lay their eggs under the leaves or in flower beds. Scattering kaolin clay around the house or kaolin clay solution prevents the stink bugs to reproduce or destroy crops or plants. Stink bugs love light, so they find their way into houses at night, so caulk seal can be used to seal off any cracks or crevices around the house that might act as a potential entry point for the stink bugs. If one happens to crush the bugs it will release a foul smell so it is better to use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the bugs in the vacuum bag and dispose of them far away in garbage bins. Try using some chemical repellents such as permethrin, tralomethrin, cypermethrin, cyfluthrin, horticultural oil, etc around entryways, cracks, crevices etc but be sure to use protective gloves and breathing masks before using these chemical repellents to avoid inhaling or getting in contact with them.

Many people are commonly known to compare carpenter ants to termites in many ways. It is common to confuse these insects to be the same as they are both known to damage wood in similar ways. Termites are known to live off wood objects. They are known to eat their way around until all that is left is an outer shell and a hollow center. Carpenter ants are somewhat different though.

Carpenter ants are also known to eat at wood objects. However, their reason to eat wood is completely different. Carpenter ants are known to create holes in wooden objects, which act as a habitat where they live. How much they eat will mostly depend on the size of their colony. Carpenter ants mainly look for areas that are moist and cool. As a result, there are many areas that can act as a habitat for carpenter ants in a person’s home.

Because carpenter ants have become quite common amongst many households, a lot of attention has been put towards different types of carpenter ant treatments that are currently available. The most common form of carpenter ant treatment is to use dust or spray. A solution is usually sprayed in all corners of the house and in-between furniture areas as well. Some people also get their outdoor areas sprayed.

To ensure that the external spray used is effective in acting as a treatment, some people drill holes in the ground and inject the spray. Carpenter ants are known to dig underground, so this is a good technique to use. It is important to remember, however, that simply using carpenter ant treatments may not be enough to fully get rid of your ant problems.

Many experts that offer carpenter ant treatments services will usually start off by finding the source and preventing them from entering into your household in the first place. There are many temporary actions that you can take in order to make sure that your furniture is not damaged excessively. The common approach would be to re-paint your furniture as this is known to prevent carpenter ants from eating away at the woodwork.

All of the tools and equipment that are needed to be used as carpenter ant treatments can easily be found online. There are many online web stores that are currently offering a wide variety of sprays to choose from. Certain sprays are known to be more effective than others. For this reason, it is important that you research the spray before you decide to buy it.

Truck Accident Lawyers – Personal Injury Attorneys

Large commercial trucks (semis) are involved in 10% of all vehicle fatalities in the Unites States, and of those fatalities, almost 10% occur in Texas.
In one year alone, Texas led the nation in fatal truck accidents with 438 semi truck fatalities. Because of the border Texas shares with Mexico, a substantial amount of international trade is transported using semi trucks on Texas roads. The sheer size of the state of Texas also means that a significant portion of cross-continental trade within the US passes through our interstate system.

As traffic across our borders and country grows, so does the potential for deadly accidents. The tragic statistics continue to increase, and the relationship between semi trucks and fatalities has become even more apparent. Large trucks, including semis, killed 468 people on Texas roads in one year.

Beyond the rise in traffic, other factors that account for this growing trend include the size and weight of the semis. When a 26,000 pound vehicle collides with a small passenger car weighing barely 4,000 pounds, it’s no surprise that the occupants of the passenger car will bear the brunt of any injuries. Obstructed visibility and swinging trailers also compromise the ability of a semi truck driver to control the vehicle, leaving more room for fatal accidents.

What is even more troubling is the tendency for trucking companies to pressure their drivers into logging more hours than federal regulations allow, pushing them past the point of exhaustion and causing many drivers to fall asleep at the wheel. A semi truck with a drowsy driver is minutes away from causing countless fatalities on the highway, yet it happens more often than many trucking companies will admit.

If your life has been shattered by a semi truck fatality, nothing can erase the pain of your loss. However, when such a tragedy occurs as the result of driver negligence or dangerous trucking company policies, those responsible must be held accountable. Legal action is not only your right, but it may be necessary to ensure the parties involved in your semi accident do not cause further fatalities.
